WhatsApp is working on the Editing Message feature for beta Android users. The platform has submitted this update through the Google Play beta program with this update, the current version reaches 2.22.22.14. According to the report, the company is working to add a label for any message that has been edited within the chat bubble.
The label for editing message feature will be available in a future update of the app. The instant Messenger and chat support software has been regularly upgrading itself to enhance user experience. In the screenshot, you can see that the platform is attaching an ‘Edited’ label to those messages that have been edited.
The report also mentions that you will get a time limit of 15 minutes to edit any message. However, some facts are still unknown. It is yet not confirmed if those messages will actually be edited that have not been received by the other end within a certain time period.
As mentioned earlier the editing message feature is currently under development process so it is not available to beta testers. There is also no news on the final release date of the label for the editing messages. Previously there were also some reports about notification bugs.
